Do you consider yourself a smart person? Are you thorough in your academic work? Are you curious about the world and the people in it? Do you try to learn something new every day?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then CONGRATULATIONS! You are in the process of developing what is known in the grown-up world as HABITS OF MIND (HOM). These are a set of skills used to solve problems when a solution or answer is not immediately apparent. HOM can be used to identify, analyze, confront, and conquer dilemmas personally, professionally, academically, and ethically.
Please read Chapter 2 from Learning and Leading with Habits of Mind. It can be found by clicking here. You may want to print it out and highlight it, but that is not required.

Something that you don't know about me
One thing that people don't know about me is that I like to be photographed and take Pictures. It all comes together with me desiring to be a "super model", it started when I was thirteen years old. Many people have and still are telling me that I have a body structure and the beauty of a model. By many people telling me that I enrolled and graduated from basic and advance classes at John Robert Powers Modeling & Acting school, so yes I have done a few acting. Since I have completed those classes I am now working on my portfolio. Even though I may not come to school all dressed up like a model, I am extremely into fashion.

Welcome Seniors of 2010
This blog is used to respond to several forms of literature - film, text, audio presentations, community activities, and more. We will utilize this media to comment on issues of social justice, politics, and day-to-day happenings, too. However, you must spell all words correctly and be as clear and concise in your message. These posts are graded assignments!
Please know that I have invited Assistant Principals, Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Cooper to be members of our blog, most times they do not post. But, they do read the page from time to time.
Make this learning experience count, do not waste these last days of high school. All will be well, if you do all that is required.
