Seniors:
All the work must be completed and ready for me upon my return to school on Monday. If you are going to be absent, send the work to school. I will not accept it late -- only if you are dead or are dying will I take it on Tuesday!!!
Thursday -- using the textbook; Do Frame story, find all references to "Frame Story" in the text, write about the literary tool and then explain its importance to telling the Canterbury story. Use examples from your reading of the tool and your portions of the story.
Next, read "Get Up and Bar the Door." Answer ?? #2, 8 (read it twice), & the Literary Focus: Ballads- Popular Poetry - need the web to do, use the computer in the back of the room ort complete this part for homework.
Friday -- read about Chaucer,read about the Renaissance era through to the Political Milestones (using window box notes) then record your findings, thoughts, questions, new ideas that come to mind, words or phrases that jump off the page. Then check the review section (talk about it & write about... parts -- do it!
Finally, read "The Glass of Fashion" write a short comparison essay to modern clothing styles and their meanings,. Be specific and site clear examples. 3 paragraph minimum.
